Dylan Barker
CHARLESTON – Dylan Thomas Barker, 25, of rural Charleston, passed away Monday, November 4, 2019 as a result of an accident.
His funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 9, 2019 at the Harper-Swickard Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, rural Charleston. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family, for an education fund for his son, Levi.
Dylan was born July 18, 1994 at SBLHC, son of Bill and Amy (Garrard) Barker. He is survived by his fiancée, Kasey Marie Mueller, and their son, Levi; his parents, Bill and Amy Barker, one sister: Destany Barker and fiancée Dustin Olinger, all of Charleston; grandparents, Peg and Rex Pedigo, Jim and Chris Dunlap, and great-grandfather, Tom Price. He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Jean Price, grandfather, Mike Garrard, Sr., uncle, Mike Garrard Jr., aunt, Denise King, and great-grandparents, Bill and Beulah Barker.
Dylan worked at Vesuvius USA. He loved being a Father, and also enjoyed stock car racing, demo derby, and karaoke. Dylan was also an avid outdoorsman, who loved to hunt. He was small in stature, but did things in a big way! He lived life to the fullest.
