KANSAS – Gary Hubert Hunter, 74, of Kansas, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2019 at home.

Gary was born May 6, 1944 at Vandalia, Illinois, son of Hubert H. and Iona B. (Berkel) Hunter. He married Wanda Louise Steiner; she survives. Also surviving are three sons: Max Hunter and wife Sheri of Charleston, Mark Hunter and wife Sharon of Florida, and Troy Hunter and wife Delrine of Colorado. Eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, as well as three brothers: Keith Hunter and wife Sue, Lyle Hunter and wife Sue, and Duane Hunter and wife Donna, all of Charleston; and two sisters: Diana Miller and husband Mike of Paris and Nita Stiff and husband Gary of Charleston, also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son: Jeffrey Lynn Hunter, and one sister: Linda Craig.

A service will be held at a later date. Arrangements: Harper-Swickard.
