Margaret L. Hopper
CHARLESTON – Margaret Louise Hopper, 90, of Charleston, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at her home.
Her graveside memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Roselawn Cemetery, Charleston. Arrangements: Caudill-King.
Margaret was born May 31, 1929 at Charleston, daughter of Jesse and Gertrude (Wuersch) Adair. She married James William Hopper, October 22, 1949 at Charleston; he passed away December 17, 2013. She is survived by her children:
Mark A. (Angela Sue) Hopper of Mattoon, Jeffrey D. (Trina) Hopper of Mapleton, IL, Kim R. Brant of Charleston, and Kevin L. (Patricia) Brant of Mattoon.
17 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law: Sharon Harrison of Charleston; and one niece: Sandy Kay Adair of St. Charles, MO, also survive. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one brother, one sister, and one grandchild.
The entire family would like to thank Margaret’s daughter-in-law: Angie for being her primary caregiver for the last several years. Margaret was an avid reader, loved working puzzles, and going to the beauty shop to get her hair done. She always had dogs around. But her first priority was always her entire family.
