Mary Easterday-Mulkey

CHARLESTON – Mary Louise Easterday-Mulkey, 86, of Charleston, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Hilltop Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Her graveside funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 11, 2018 at Roselawn Cemetery, Charleston.  There will be no visitation.  Arrangements: Caudill-King.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Hilltop Activity Fund would be appreciated.

Mary was born September 3, 1931 at Charleston, daughter of Charles M. and Vauda M. (Huddleston) Scott.  She married Joseph L. Easterday in 1950; he died in 1992; she later married George Mulkey; he died in 1995.  She is survived by her sons: Steve (Patsy) Easterday, Dave (Donna) Easterday, and Charlie (Donna) Easterday, all of Charleston; nine grandchildren: Amy (Eric) Scott of Little Rock, AR, Amanda (Craig) Bisby of Newman, Patrick (Jenna) Easterday of Charleston, Chad (Nickie) Easterday of Charleston, Andrew (Theresa) Easterday of Dyer, IN, Kendra (Jamie) Barker of Charleston, Don Easterday, Scott (Kelci) Easterday, and Laura Easterday, all of Charleston; fifteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; as well as one brother: Ted (Georgia) Scott of Santee, CA also survive.  She was preceded in death by one brother: Jim Scott and one grandchild: Rebekah Easterday.

Mary was a member of the Bushton Christian Church.  She was a devoted homemaker, and in later years worked at Ace Hardware.
