Barbara Ames

CHARLESTON – Barbara "Barb" L. Ames, 63, passed away at her home Thursday, May 7, 2020.

Barbara was born March 31, 1957 at Charleston, the daughter of Robert L. and Delora (Adams) Woodfall.  She is survived by a son: Chris Ames and his children; and two sisters: Doris Hamilton of Charleston and Dorothy Cooper of Rockford, IL; one nephew: John R. Hamilton of Charleston; two nieces: Jennifer Mitchell of Belvidere, IL and Michelle Eich of Charleston; and special friends, Gaylon Swango and Trenton Swango.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Barbara was a 1975 CHS graduate and she was an avid pet lover.  She will be missed!

Her graveside funeral will be private.  Arrangements: Caudill-King.  Memorials in her honor may be made to the Coles County Animal Shelter, 6818 N CR 1120 E, Charleston, IL  61920
