Brenda King

CHARLESTON – Brenda J. King, 81, of Charleston, passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021 at Charleston Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

Brenda was born August 17, 1940 in Charleston, daughter of Gerald and Esther (Adams) King.  She is survived by one son, Troy Cuppy and wife Jeanie of Overland Park, KS; five grandchildren, Justin Champney, Christopher Carter, Amanda Carter, Matthew Carter, and Travis Alexander; six great-grandchildren, one sister, Marsha Moler of Lindale, TX, and three nieces, Toni Merrill, Amy Hanson, and Heather Moler.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Brenda retired as a Purchasing Agent for Uni-Built Structures, and later went to work at EIU as Commencement Coordinator and retired from there also.

A reception will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Charleston Moose Lodge, 615 7 ^th Street, Charleston.  Arrangements: Caudill-King.
