Clarence Walker, Jr.

CHARLESTON – Clarence Robert Walker, Jr., 66, of Charleston, passed away Monday, May 16, 2022 at his home, with family at his side.

His Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 22, 2022 at the Neoga Free Methodist Church, with Pastor Steve Massengill officiating.  Arrangements: Harper-Swickard.

Clarence was born March 11, 1956 at Arcola, son of Goldie Elizabeth and Clarence Robert Walker, Sr.  He married Cindy Higgins, June 27, 2004 at Salisbury Church in Hutton Township; she survives.  Also surviving are their children, Casey (Anna) Herschberger of Mattoon, Jason Walker of Mattoon, Tiffany (Derek) Conners of Charleston, April (Raymond) Henna of Brownstown, and Charles Mason of Charleston; one brother, Troy Walker of Rushville, IL; two sisters, Doris (Ernie) Winkleblack of Mattoon and Vicki Archer of Charleston, as well as eight grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Becky Inman.

Clarence provided for his family by being a truck driver.  He attended the Neoga Free Methodist Church.
