Debbie Welsh

LERNA – Debbie K. Welsh, 67, of Lerna, passed away Monday, August 25, 2025 at her home.

Debbie was born June 25, 1958 at Charleston, daughter of Jerry Eugene and Lillie Mae (Hall) Taylor.  She married Donald Lee Welsh, July 23, 1976.  He passed away August 10, 2008.  She is survived by her step-daughter, Miranda Stevens of Lerna; grandchildren, Caitlin Welsh and Haleigh Leffingwell; great-grandchild, D.J. Leffingwell; and sister, Diana Parkin of Urbana.  She was also preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Mike Taylor; and a grandchild, Cordell Welsh.

Debbie was a home maker and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Her graveside funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 5, 2025 at Janesville Cemetery.  Arrangements: Harper-Swickard.
