Delbert Cook

CHARLESTON – Delbert Eugene Cook, 64, of Charleston, passed away Friday, May 14, 2021 at Hilltop Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Delbert was born September 6, 1956 in Charleston, son of William and Lola Maxine (Hendrix) Cook. He is survived by three children, Heather Cook, James Cook and wife Courtney, and Jessica Cook, all of Charleston. One grandchild, Lillyanna Freeman and another grandchild, Lincoln Delray Cook, due soon. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Delbert was a loving father and grandfather who had his own mowing and landscaping business. He attended group meetings at the Home Church in Charleston and enjoyed watching game shows while eating Klondike bars, and spending time with his children. He will be dearly missed by those who knew him.
