Donald Harris

CHARLESTON – Donald Andrew Harris, 58, of Charleston, passed away Monday, October 20, 2025 at home, surrounded by his loved ones.

Donald was born December 3, 1966 at Shelbyville, Illinois, son of Judy (Walker) and Richard Harris. He married Marcia Lynn Stallings; she passed away August 17, 2004.  He is survived by his children, Amber Harris and Sydney Harris, whom he was very proud of, his devoted longtime partner, Renee Anthony, one granddaughter, Marcia Turner; and his mother, Judy Rardin, all of Charleston, two sisters, one brother, and many nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Kristina Tyre of Robinson, IL.  He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Harris, one sister, Jennifer Beasley, and wife Marcia Lynn Harris.

Donald served in the U.S. Army for four years in the 25th Infantry, and traveled around the world.  He was a Plumber by trade.  Donald could fix anything and loved working on things.
