Eric Emberton

CHARLESTON – Eric Eugene Emberton, 51, of Effingham, formerly of Charleston, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2019 at his home.

His visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 2, 2020 at the Caudill-King Funeral Home, 1117 Jackson, Charleston, with his funeral following at 7:00 p.m. with Reverend Janice Kahl officiating.  Burial will be at a later date.  Memorials may be made to Shriner's Children's Hospitals.

Eric was born December 30, 1967 at Charleston, son of Larry W. and Vicki (Jenkins) Emberton; they survive.  Also surviving are one brother: Larry W. Emberton II and one sister: Cari Sue Emberton, both of Charleston; three nieces, one nephew, seven great-nieces and great-nephews, as well as numerous aunts and uncles.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Doris and Bernard Emberton and Winky Pearcy and Fuzz Jenkins.

Eric worked in IT at Patterson Dental in Effingham.  He had previously worked at R.R. Donnelly and J.J. Collins.  Eric will be missed by all who knew him.  He was very caring to everyone he came in contact with.  He would always be there to help anyone in need.
