Jane Herman

CHARLESTON – Jane Herman, 73, of Charleston, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at SBLHC.

Her funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 6, 2024 at the Harper-Swickard Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Mound Cemetery, Charleston.  Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.  Memorials in her honor may be made to the Breast Cancer Foundation.  Casual attire would be appreciated.

Jane was born August 1, 1951 at Charleston, daughter of Edgar and Lula Elsie (Wilson) Herman.  She married Liz Sansare, July 5, 2011; she survives.  Also surviving is one half-sister, Linda Haga of Greenup; as well as several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and one half-sister, Janis Niccum.

Jane retired from General Electric after thirty-five years.  She was a member of H.O.G.  Jane loved riding her Harley, working in her flower beds, was an avid reader, and enjoyed dogs.
