Jo Ellen Crawford

CHARLESTON – Jo Ellen Crawford, 91, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Mattoon Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

Her graveside funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Roselawn Cemetery, Charleston.  There will be no visitation.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mattoon Health Care Activity Group.  Arrangements: Harper-Swickard.

Jo Ellen was born November 4, 1927 to John and Wilma (Summers) Park in Findlay, IL.  She married Orla E. Crawford, March 2, 1946 and celebrated 60 years of marriage prior to his death in 2006.  She is survived by two children: Linda (Victor) Seeley of Lerna and Max (Debbie) of Seffner, FL; five grandchildren: Melissa (Tom) Walsh of Glenview, IL, Marcia (Tom) Bellair of Glenview, IL, Amanda (Shane) Soldinger of Monks Corner, SC, Katie (Chris) Raber of Seffner, FL and Nick (Tara) Crawford of Wellington, FL.  10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson, as well as one sister: Doris (Bob) Hill and 1 brother: Bill (Cindy) Park, all of Sullivan, also survive.  She was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Dick, Dale, and Tom Park and 1 sister: Carolyn.

Jo Ellen treasured family time in both Illinois and Florida.  Jo Ellen enjoyed her time at Mattoon Health Care where she had plenty of friends and enjoyed many activities.

Jo Ellen will remain in our hearts forever.
