John Moore

CHARLESTON – John W. Moore, 60, of Charleston, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2018 at his home.

His memorial visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the Caudill-King Funeral Home. Inurnment will be private at a later date.  Memorials: Coles County Animal Shelter.

John was born July 13, 1957 at Charleston, son of Albert Morgan and Loretta Jean (Glidewell) Moore.  He is survived by two daughters: Tracie (Jason) Montz and Tina Hildebrand-Cox; his fiance, Brenda Carrell and her children: Cristal Carrell and Nick Carrell; grandchildren: Jordan Montz and Whitney Montz; and great-grandchildren: Abrielle and another due in a month.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers: Steve, Mike, and Dan.

John was a member of the Charleston Moose Lodge and a life member of the former Charleston Eagles Club.
