Kathryn Hayes

MATTOON – Kathryn Louise Hayes, 93, of Charleston, passed away Friday, March 29, 2024 at the Odd Fellow-Rebekah Home – Harmony Center.

Her graveside funeral will be private.  Arrangements: Harper-Swickard.

Kathryn was born July 6, 1930 at Westfield, Illinois, daughter of Roy and Myrtle (Heddins) Johnson.  She married Philip Hayes, April 23, 1952.  He passed away August 27, 1998.  She is survived by several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  She was also preceded in death by three sisters.

Kathryn retired from Brown Shoe Company.  She loved sewing and spending time with her family.
