Kenneth W. Cole

CHARLESTON – Kenneth Wayne Cole 82, of Charleston, passed away Monday, April 21, 2025 at his home.

Kenneth was born February 26, 1943 in Charleston, son of Robert and Olive (Coartney) Cole. He is survived by two children, Jon Cole and wife Kendra of Charleston and Julie Fulton and husband Edward of Troy, IL; grandchildren, Allison Izard and husband Jeremy of Glen Carbon, IL and Hayden Cole of Effingham; great-grandchildren, Maisyn Izard and Hudson Izard; one brother, Larry Cole and wife Debbie of Mattoon; and two sisters, Virginia Buchanan and husband Edwin of Mississippi and Judith Cole of Naperville.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Gertrude Bailey, Marjorie Cole, Charles Richard "Dick" Cole, Ronald Cole, Gladys Nichols, William Cole, James Cole, Ralph Cole, Harold "Butch" Cole, and Fred Cole.

Kenneth had retired from maintenance at Charleston National Bank and the Coles County Jail.
