Larry Baker

CHARLESTON – Larry Allen Baker, 71, of Charleston, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center.

His graveside funeral will be private.  Arrangements: Harper-Swickard.

Larry was born February 15, 1949 at Charleston, son of Charles and Pauline (James) Baker.  He married Carmia June Nichols, June 17, 1978; she survives.  Also surviving are their children, Lucinda Mae "Lucy" Joslin and husband Joshua of Ogden, UT and Frank Willilam Baker and wife Cassandra of Marshall, IL; five grandchildren, Logan Lee Baker, Gavin Leon Joslin, Emma Sue Baker, Zoey Marie Baker, and Alivianna Rose Joslin; and one sister, Sally (Baker) Moore of Charleston.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Larry was a member of Northside Baptist Church.  He was employed as a construction worker for many years.  He loved going fishing, collected Marx model trains, and filled his yard with Magnolia trees.
