Madeline Wright

CHARLESTON – Madeline Pearl Wright, 70, of Charleston, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Madeline was born October 11, 1947, the daughter of Lawrence E. and May (Faria) Wright.  She is survived by three cousins: Elizabeth Moses and Carol Willoughby of Charleston, and Lee Ann Curry of Greenup.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Madeline attended the Senior Program at CCAR Industries and had lived at Alpha House/Monroe CILA, that are part of the Development Foundations, Inc.  She loved listening to Lawrence Welk and Perry Como.  Madeline liked to talk about her cat Jennifer's travels, taco eating, and spending all of her money in Vegas.

Madeline was loved by all who knew her.  She will be missed by family, friends and staff at CCAR, Monroe CILA, and Cumberland Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

Her graveside memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Roselawn Cemetery, Charleston.  An open house will be held at Monroe CILA, 902 Monroe, Charleston.
