Marian Finch

CHARLESTON – Marian Pearl Finch, 85, of Charleston, passed away Monday, January 10, 2022 at her home, surrounded by family.

Her graveside funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 14, 2022 at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens, Mattoon, with Pastor Brad Brown officiating.  Arrangements: Harper-Swickard.

Marian was born December 13, 1936 in Charleston, daughter of Herman and Bertha Jane (Glasner) Burris.  She married Alan Finch, May 27, 1956.  He preceded her into Heaven, May 9, 2006.  She is survived by their children, Julie Auffenorde and Jessica (David) Williams; grandchildren, Alex Alan (Taysia) Auffenorde, Zachary (Alysha) Williams, Jaidyn Williams, and Benjamin Williams (fiancee Mika Johnson); great-grandchildren, Edyn, Alayna, and Arwynn; as well as one sister, Vera Moreton of Charleston.  She was also preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and four sisters.

Marian was a member of the Ashmore Baptist Church and had retired from Vesuvius.  She enjoyed word puzzles, painting ceramics/yard ornaments, and watching soap operas, especially The Young and The Restless, Hallmark and Lifetime Movies.
