Mark Hayes

CHARLESTON – Mark Duane Hayes, 62, of Charleston, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2019.

Mark was born July 27, 1957 at Charleston, son of Alice (Melton) and Gerald E. "Gene" Hayes, Sr.   He is survived by three children: Mark Brandon Hayes, Channon Hayes-Jones, and John Hayes, all of Ripley, TN; one sister: Deb Easton of Charleston; four brothers: Gerald Hayes, Jr., Johnny Hayes, and James Hayes, all of Charleston, and Russell Hayes of TN. Five grandchildren: Mark Anthony Hayes, Jonathan Jones, Dylan Jones, Joey Jones, and Justin Jones, also survive.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and two grandchildren: Aubrey Hayes and John Duane Hayes.

Mark was a U.S. Army veteran and in later years worked construction.
