Mark Wilson

CHARLESTON – Mark A. Wilson, 63, of rural Charleston, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017 at his home.

His graveside funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 31, 2017 at Mound Cemetery, Charleston, with Ray Winnett officiating.  Arrangements: Harper-Swickard.

Mark was born May 14, 1954 at Shelbyville, Illinois, son of Emerson and Grace (Tate) Wilson.  He married Kathryn Winnett, June 12, 1977 at her parent's home; she survives.  Also surviving are their sons: Emerson Maxwell Wilson of Moline, IL and Berlin Cole Wilson of Charleston; and one sister: Marsha Haycraft of Shelbyville, IL.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother: Paul Wilson.

Mark worked many years as an autobody repairman and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
