Marty Togtman

COOKS MILLS – Martha Joan "Marty" Togtman, 55, of Cooks Mills, passed away Friday, June 12, 2020 at her home.

Her graveside funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at Roselawn Cemetery, Charleston.  Arrangements: Harper-Swickard.

Marty was born August 7, 1964 at Charleston, daughter of Dannie Eugene and Wilma Joan (Heddins) Dick.  She married Michael A. Hackett in 1981.  He died December 23, 2006.  She later married Darrin Togtman, June 6, 2009; he survives.  Also surviving are their children:  Brooks Hackett, Terry Hackett, Bret Hackett, Tony Hackett, Jessica Togtman, and Gracie Togtman.  Her father: Dannie Dick of Lerna, one brother: Jeff (Marta) Dick of Cooks Mills, one sister: Kelly (Steve) Martin of Greenup, and her mother-in-law: Grace Jacobsma of South Holland, IL, also survive.  She was preceded in death by her mother: Wilma Dick and father-in-law: Kenneth Togtman.

Marty was employed in the Activities Department at Palm Terrace.  She grew up on the river with her family, fishing and canoeing.  Marty loved going for rides in the country in her side by side, enjoying the beauty of nature.
