Mary Cline

CHARLESTON – Mary Jane Cline, 75, of Charleston, passed away Friday, May 17, 2024 at her home, surrounded by family.

Mary was born December 3, 1948 at Diona, Illinois, daughter of Max and Erma Jean (Walters) Lawyer.  She is survived by four children, Jana Glidewell, Thomas "Chris" Jones, Jamie Cunningham, and Kevin Jones, all of Charleston; two sisters, Martha (Bob) Bayles of Ashmore and Carolyn (Donnie) Owens of Mattoon; two brothers, Ronnie Lawyer of Centralia and Chuck Lawyer of Charleston; eight grandchildren, Brandon Galeener, Jared Galeener, Shawn Cunningham, Cameron Glidewell, Jessica Wallen, Cassady Manzo, Jacob Cunningham, and Jaylin Jones.  Fifteen great-grandchildren also survive.  She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, George Lawyer, and one grandchild, Shane Cunningham.

Mary had worked in Human Resources at Solo Cup in Urbana for many years, and later retired from Hucks.  She loved going to garage sales, collecting antiques, and enjoyed working in her yard and gardening.
