Mary Craft

CHARLESTON – Mary L. Craft, 77, of rural Charleston, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at her home surrounded by family.

Her funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 23, 2024 at the Harper-Swickard Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, rural Oakland.  Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. (NOON) Friday at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Transitions Hospice.

Mary was born December 30, 1946 at Charleston, daughter of Howard W. and Myrtle E. (Cutright) Campbell.  She married Henry Leslie Craft, October 10, 1963 at Charleston.  He preceded her into Heaven, January 12, 2021.  She is survived by their sons, Randy Craft and wife Lisa of Wapella, IL, Eric Craft and Loretta Phillips of Charleston, and Weslie Craft of Charleston; brother, Tom Campbell and wife Genny of Ashmore; grandchildren, Henry Craft, Kaitlin Eggers, Lucas Craft, Elissa Trotter, Blake Craft, Brooke Kepley, Teigan Carson, and Peyton Miller; and eleven great-grandchildren.  She was also preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Janice Hayes.

Mary was a member of Cowboy Church at Arthur.  Her favorite past time was Gunnysack.  Mary loved music of all kinds, but especially loved listening to her brother's band, Tom Campbell and the Country Boys.  She loved going to BINGO with Henry, and traveling.  Mary enjoyed following her kids and grandkids athletic events, and all the time she was able to spend with family.
