Olive Jennings

CHARLESTON – Olive M. (Krile) Jennings, 91, loving wife of the late Wayne Jennings, died January 28, 2020.

Beloved mother of Mark (Joyce) Jennings and Eric Jennings, she was the loving grandmother of Edmund Jennings, Joshua Jennings, and Valerie Jennings, and cherished great-grandma of Ariana Jennings.

She is also survived by her loving companion of many years, former daughter-in-law, Sara Jennings.

Olive was from Strasburg, IL, born December 29, 1928.  After graduation, she attended nursing school in Paris, IL and worked as an RN at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, Mattoon, many years.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Veva Lightcap of California.

We extend our thanks to everyone who cared for her in the last year of life, to Lincolnland Hospice and to her church family who held us in prayer unceasingly, especially the women of the Ladies Aid at Immanuel Lutheran.

Visitation is at Caudill-King Funeral Home on Friday, January 31, 2020 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Services will follow at 5:00 p.m. with Pastor Ken Hoover officiating.  Instead of flowers, please send donations to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Charleston or a charity of your choice.
