Pamela Staggs

ASHMORE – Pamela Kay Staggs, 70, of Ashmore, passed away Monday, January 20, 2020 at her home.

Her funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 24, 2020 at the Harper-Swickard Funeral Home with Pastor David Colvin officiating.  Burial will follow in Enon Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 11:00 Friday at the funeral home.

Pam was born October 16, 1949 at Charleston, daughter of Dean and Evelyn (Johnson) Johns.  She is survived by her children: Christopher and Valerie Staggs of Kansas, Richard and Tracy Staggs and Jason and Tonya Staggs, both of Charleston; her mother: Evelyn Carlen of Charleston; two brothers: Larry and Dana Johns of Charleston and Jim and Patty Johns of Ashmore; and one sister: Linda Carnahan of Oakland.  Ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive.  She was preceded in death by her father.

Pam was a member of Ashmore Baptist Church.  She had worked at J&K Mitchell and General Electric.  She loved to read books, was an avid NASCAR fan, and enjoyed babysitting her great-niece and great-nephew, and spending time with her family.
