Patricia Baines

ASHMORE – Patricia A. Baines, 72, of Ashmore, passed away Friday, April 6, 2018 at SBLHC.

Her graveside funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Fairview Cemetery, rural Kansas, with Pastor Tom Skinner officiating.  There will be no visitation.  Arrangements: Caudill-King.  Memorials: Coles County Animal Shelter.

Patricia was born October 15, 1945 in Coles County, Illinois, daughter of Larry R. and Rosemary (Maxwell) Miller.  She is survived by her children: Doug (Tammy) Baines of Charleston and Kim (Jon) Carson of Ashmore; one sister: Brenda (David W.) Miller-Cox of Charleston; one brother: Dr. Michael (Kim) Miller of Evansville, IN; grandchildren: Chad (Kelly) Wilson and Scott Wilson; step-granddaughter: Cassie Carson; great-grandchildren: Riley Jo Wilson, McKenzie Wilson, Erica Wilson, Bradley Wilson; step-great-grandson: Dillon Roberts; and great-great-grandchildren: Aubrey Salinas and Avery Salinas, as well as several nieces and nephews also survive.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Patricia had attended the Kansas Christian Church.  She retired from General Electric after more than 20 years of service.  She loved her animals of all kinds, fed the birds, enjoyed being outside in the sunshine, worked puzzles and crosswords, and loved QVC!
