Philip Blair
CHARLESTON – Philip C. Blair, 66, of Charleston, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Carle Foundation Hospital.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 11, 2017 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with Father Hyland Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be one-half hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements: Harper-Swickard.
Philip was born January 15, 1951 at Charleston, son of Jack C. and Madeline (Varda) Blair. He is survived by one brother: John Blair and wife Joyce of Kettering, OH; and two nephews: Thomas Blair and Matthew Blair. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a nephew: Nathaniel Blair.
Philip was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. He retired from Booth Library at EIU.
