Rex L. Pedigo

CHARLESTON – Rex Luther Pedigo, 77, of rural Charleston, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2023 at home, surrounded by family.

Rex was born September 8, 1946 at Charleston, son of Chilton Avery and Gwendoline (Goodman) Pedigo.  He married Peggy Jo Price, December 28, 2000; she survives.  Also surviving are their children, Amber Pedigo, Brittni Pedigo, Bill Barker and wife Amy, and Traci Barker and special friend Jason Bolen; one brother, Albert Pedigo and wife Clara, as well as seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Harold Pedigo, one sister, Sharon Zuniga, and a grandson, Dylan Barker.

Rex retired from Ashmore Township.  He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
