Rosie Lawyer

LERNA – Rosie Lawyer, 62, of rural Lerna, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018 at her home.

Her graveside funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Pleasant Prairie (Indian) Cemetery, rural Lerna.  There will be no visitation.  Arrangements: Caudill-King.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to: Pleasant Prairie Cemetery, c/o Karen Gannaway, 2828N CR 1150E, Lerna, IL  62440.

Rosie was born January 2, 1956 at Effingham, Illinois, daughter of Lowell and Marie B. (Huffmaster) Koester.  She married Edwin Philip Lawyer, July 20, 1974 in Charleston; He survives.  Also surviving is their daughter: Linda (Krag) Ferris of Lerna; and one granddaughter: Macy Ferris of Lerna.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother: James Koester.

Rosie was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Stewardson.  She was a licensed Real Estate Appraiser with Ealy's Appraisals.  Rosie enjoyed going camping with her family.
