Russell Alan Shick

CHARLESTON - Russell Alan Shick, 68, of Charleston, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at SBLHS.

His graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 13, 2020 at Janesville Cemetery, with Pastor Eric Harmon officiating.  Arrangements: Caudill-King Funeral Home.

Alan was born August 27, 1952 at Charleston, son of Ronald and Loretta Jean (White) Shick.  He is survived by the love of his life, Sheila Shick of Charleston and their children Michelle (Steve) Evans, Laura (Mark Fetters) Anderson, and Mike Anderson; sister: Dorothy (Glenn) Soucek; as well as five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers: Michael Shick and Dan Shick.

Alan had worked Caterpillar, Trailmobile, and Sturdi-Built.  He enjoyed landscaping and gardening, and especially enjoyed walking.
