Timothy Wiley

CHARLESTON – Timothy G. Wiley, 45, of Charleston, passed away Friday, November 1, 2024 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center.

Tim was born November 3, 1978 at Mattoon, son of John T. and Gina (Montugno) Wiley.  He married Marlene L. Vega, April 17, 2000 at the Coles County Courthouse; she survives.  Also surviving are his mother, Gina Wiley of Charleston; children, Natasha Wiley (Ayden Martin) of Charleston and Joshua Wiley (Jaelynn Lee) of Charleston; three brothers, Michael Wiley (Michelle Auxier) of Eugene, Oregon, Anthony Wiley and wife Heather of Missouri, and Eric Wiley (Colleen Kilberg) of Indiana; an Aunt, Fran Wiley-Goh and husband Herman Goh of Hernando Beach, Florida; and his first grandchild is due in February; nieces and nephews, Aria Wiley, Rhyse Holder, Vittoria Wiley, Eliasaph Wiley, Maddy Kilberg, and Ethan Kilberg.  He was preceded in death by his father and a nephew, Keegan Wiley.

Tim had worked at Pagliai's Pizza, Ruffalo Cody, and Consolidated Communications.  He enjoyed spending time with his family.  Tim enjoyed sports of all kinds, but especially loved the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears.  He also enjoyed a wide range of music.

His Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 17, 2024 at Praise Assembly of God, 1300 Osage Road Charleston, with Pastor Ryan Mulvaney officiating.  Arrangements: Caudill-King.
