MATTOON – Virginia Sharon Epperson-Hayes, 86, of Mattoon, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2026 at Willow Breeze Hospice House.
Sharon was born January 8, 1940 at Mattoon, a daughter of Hobert and Mertie Erma (Atchley) Epperson. She married Lowell Russell “Russ” Hayes, August 8, 2018 at Mattoon; he survives.
