CHARLESTON - Brenda Sue Rogers, 59, of Charleston, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Kindred Hospital, Peoria, Illinois.

Brenda was born March 2, 1963 in Charleston, daughter of Russell

Rogers and Barbara (Montz) Shellabarger.  She is survived by four children, Miranda Riley, Gregg (Echo) Riley, Drew (Krystin) Riley, and Brendan Rogers, all of Charleston; extended family, Mitch, Myles, Mason, Millicent, and Morgun;  Grandchildren, Paizleigh Riley, Jaxon Riley, Kasidy Riley, and Quinten Riley; loving cat Dusty, granddogs, Diamond and Charlie; one brother, Trent (Crystal) Shellabarger of Vandalia; and two sisters, Debbie (Butch) Winnett of Charleston and Angel (Rick) Bagwell of Telico Plains, TN.  Several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews also survive.  She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and one brother, Larry Rogers.

Brenda was a 1982 graduate of Charleston High School.  She was a Lunch Lady for Aramark at Charleston High School for nearly twenty years.  She enjoyed Facebook, Tik Tok, playing Bingo, and cooking.

Her Memorial Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, August 13, 2022 at the Caudill-King Funeral Home.
