ASHMORE – Hallie M. Stout, 92, of rural Ashmore, passed away Friday, September 29, 2023 at home.

Hallie was born September 18, 1931 in Coles County, daughter of Herman & Lula (Butler) Moore. She married Coy A. Stout, November 4, 1950. He passed away February 25, 2006. She is survived by four children, Cheryl Bennett, Cindy Moreton (Roger Williams), Phil Stout (Pam), and Alan Stout. Seven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren also survive. She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Larry Bennett, and a grandson, Tommy Bennett.

Hallie retired from General Electric.

Private entombment has been held.
