Henry Craft
CHARLESTON – Henry L. Craft, 78, of rural Charleston, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at his home surrounded by family.
His graveside funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Oak Grove Cemetery, rural Oakland. Arrangements: Harper-Swickard Funeral Home. Memorials in his honor may be given to Lincolnland Hospice.
Henry was born September 30, 1942 at Bonny, KY, son of Garland and Reva Ann (Roberson) Craft. He married Mary Louanna Campbell, October 12, 1963 in Charleston; she survives. Also surviving are their children: Randy Craft and wife Lisa of Wapella, IL, Eric Craft and Loretta Phillips of Charleston, and Weslie Craft of Charleston. One half-sister: Caroline Manning of Kansas, IL; as well as eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren (with another on the way), also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Ronnie Craft and David Manning; and three sisters: Ann Binion, Bonnie Hunter, and Jerry Craft.
Henry was a member of the Cowboy Church at Arthur. He also held memberships in the Moose, V.F.W., and the former Eagle’s Club. Henry loved working with his hands and being outdoors doing anything.
