Jack Andrew “Andy” Price II

January 3, 1965 – August 25, 2022

MATTOON – Jack A. Price II, 57, of Mattoon, passed away peacefully Thursday, August 25, 2022 with wife Orphah (Farris) Price and stepson Robert by his side. 

Jack was born in Crawfordsville, Indiana, son of Jack A. Price I and Phyllis (Ellis) Price of Crawfordsville.

Jack moved to Mattoon, IL with wife Orphah, who survives.  Also surviving are two step-sons: Robert Farris and James Farris.  Two step-daughters: Donna Risk and Trisha Brane.  Mother: Phyllis Price.  Two sisters: Barbara (Price) Adams and Susan (Price) Randle.  Two nieces: Tawanha Price and TeShenna (Price) Endsley.  Three nephews: TJ Randle, Noah Adams, and Zach Adams.  Also surviving, special Aunt Peggy (Arnold) Nichols.  A paternal Aunt: Suzanne (Freez) Pritchett.  Two maternal Aunts: Wanda Thompson and Jenny Rivenburg.  Maternal Uncles: Dean Ellis and Lester Ellis.  He was preceded in death by his father: Jack A. Price, step-son: Donald Farris, paternal Aunts: Ethel (Price) Arnold and Bell (Price) Smith, paternal Grandmother: Bobbie (Price) Howard, and maternal Uncles: Lawrence Ellis and Farrell Ellis.

Jack “Andy” worked as a Truck Driver as well as a Maintenance Worker, then took care of his wife for many years, who has been in poor health.

“Andy” really enjoyed being with his family and friends.

Harper-Swickard Funeral Home in Charleston, is handling arrangements.  Cremation has been chosen.  A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
