Ossey Eubank
CHARLESTON – Ossey Robert Eubank,79, of Charleston, passed away Monday, October 17, 2022 at SBLHC.
Ossey was born January 10, 1943 at Doniphan, Missouri, son of Robert and Marie (Maples) Eubank. He was raised by Fred and Guinevere Hudson. He married Vickie Lee, November 24, 1964 at Charleston; she survives. Also surviving are three children, Eddie (Shelly) Eubank of Charleston, Rebecca Eubank and fiancée Trevon Glosser of Charleston, and Russell Eubank of St. Louis, MO. Grandchildren, Amber (Austin) Duckwiler, Jordan Eubank, Trevor Eubank, Deondray (Miranda) Eubank, and Kylee Eubank and fiancee Dylan Wallace; and great-grandchildren, Halie Duckwiler, Taylor Duckwiler, Ivy James Duckwiler, Skyler Duckwiler, and Calliope Eubank. He was preceded in death by his natural parents, the parents who raised him, one daughter, Deana Eubank, two brothers, Harold Eubank and James Eubank, and Russell’s fiancé, Michelle Messner.
Ossey was a truck driver for O & R Eubank Trucking, and his son Eddie now owns the business. In earlier years, he loved to hunt and fish. Ossey also loved assembling model air planes. He enjoyed history and western movies.
