Sharon Zuniga
CHARLESTON – Sharon M. Zuniga, 77, of Charleston, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at SBLHC.
Her graveside funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Union Cemetery, rural Charleston. Please respect CDC guidelines by wearing masks and observing social distancing. Arrangements: Caudill-King.
Sharon was born August 25, 1942 at Paris, Illinois, daughter of Chilton and Gwendoline (Goodman) Pedigo. She married Paul Zuniga, October 8, 1966 at Charleston; he survives. Also surviving are two children: Paula (Erik) Olmsted of Charleston, with their children: Paige and Kelcie and Harold (Coartney Hale) Zuniga of Ashmore, with his son Chilton; two step-children: Ed and Connie; grandkids: J.R. (Desiree) and their children: Gavin, Colin, and Marlee, Christa and her children: Brandon and Tasha; and Kami. Two brothers: Rex (Peg) Pedigo and Albert (Clara) Pedigo also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother: Harold Pedigo; and one granddaughter: Alicia.
Sharon was devoted to her family and loved looking after her grandchildren. She loved watching her granddaughter Paige play softball and going to dance competitions to see Paige and Alicia.
Paul and the family would like to thank Amber, Ben, Henry, Jamie, Aunt Clara, Rhonda, Brent, Brea, Tommy, and Chad, Yvonne Davis, and best friends Donnie and Florence Oakley, for all their help the last two weeks.
