Silas Nathan Robert Hughes

CHARLESTON – Silas Nathan Robert Hughes, 5 months, of Charleston, was embraced in the arms of Jesus, Tuesday, November 2, 2021.

His graveside funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 5, 2021 at Roselawn Cemetery, Charleston.  Arrangements: Harper-Swickard.

Silas was born May 22, 2021 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, Mattoon, son of Arianna Brito and Cammeron Hughes; they survive.  Also surviving are his grandparents, Ashleigh Malone, Wesley Hughes, and Veronica Brito; aunts and uncles, Trenton Stefko, Skyler Stefko, Paisley Stefko, Kaleigh Hughes, Gage Hughes, Isaiah Brito, Shiloh Brito, and Antonio Brito.  He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Nathan Walker, and aunts, Bailey Hughes and Brooke Hughes.

Although he was in our lives only a short time, he will forever be remembered as a precious gift from God.
